Every class is led by a coach who's committed to the work — not just the techniques, but the people on the mats.
Our coaching staff is built around shared standards: respect, discipline, and the belief that real martial arts deserves real instruction. Coaches are selected for their experience, their technical knowledge, and their ability to teach — three things that don't always come together, and that we don't compromise on.
Meet the people who'll be coaching you.
Head Coach & Owner
Cole Miller
Cole Miller built Miller Martial Arts around a simple idea: that real martial arts, taught with care and structure, can change the way people move through the world.
A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and 20-time UFC veteran, Cole spent over a decade competing at the highest level of mixed martial arts before transitioning to coaching full-time. The experience he brings to the academy isn’t theoretical — it’s earned through thousands of training hours, dozens of professional fights, and years of working with athletes across every level of the sport.
But fighting was never the whole point. Cole’s coaching philosophy draws on what martial arts taught him outside the cage: discipline, accountability, respect, and the kind of personal growth that only consistent effort produces. Those are the values he brings to the mats — and the standard he holds the entire coaching staff to, whether it’s an adult beginner walking in for their first session or a serious student preparing for competition.
Cole founded Miller Martial Arts as an American Top Team affiliate to bring world-class instruction and structured training to Middle Georgia. Today, he leads the academy alongside a coaching staff that shares his standards — and continues to train, teach, and develop students through the same systems that shaped him.
